The heartache

Two weeks later, I found out that I was for sure not pregnant. Nothing could have prepared us for the disappointment we felt. James had been so excited for 2 weeks, making sure I took it easy and didn't stress at all. He was very convinced that the insemination had worked and I was pregnant, but that wasn't in God's plan for us. The next few weeks were terrible on our marriage. We were short and rude to each other. On our 4 hour drive home from thanksgiving dinner we both just exploded. At that point we realized that we were both hurting. We were trying to deal with the pain alone. We decided that we needed to talk to each other and help the other one through this. After we realized that, we started getting along much better.

Although my doctor suggested that we do insemination, we can still get pregnant without it. We have stayed away from doing insemination as much as we can. We aren't sure if we can handle it again.
